Join us for a day of hands-on, non-visual art-making in the plaza. No registration needed — drop in any time.
Schedule
11:00 – 12:00 PM: Free Play
Try different materials and techniques at your own pace. No prompts to follow — just experiment and chat with artists and community members.
12:00 – 1:30 PM: Workshop One
Follow prompts and watch as artists demonstrate tactile illustration techniques. Instructions available in multiple languages. Visual description will be given in English, with questions answered in English, French, Spanish, and ASL.
1:30 – 2:00 PM: Free Play
Another chance to explore materials and make your own tactile art without set instructions.
Access Information
Washrooms:
Available at Sunset Community Centre (6810 Main St). Wide, well-maintained sidewalks connect the plaza to the community centre.
Access Coordinators:
On-site to assist with washroom trips or additional workshop support.
Water & Snacks:
Provided for participants.
